Children enjoy the Ferris wheel, comic shelves and casual food, but there is no play zone, pachinko is off-limits, and idol shows run long and loud, so parents must filter activities.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for the Sky-Boat ride, shop browsing, and a family meal without tiring younger children.
Sky-Boat Ferris Wheel Ride:
Take a 15-minute loop on the transparent Sky-Boat for city views.
Tip: Buy tickets on arrival to avoid lines. Children under 5 ride free but must sit with an adult.
Tsutaya Book/DVD Corner:
Browse free comics and kids’ DVDs on the 3rd floor.
Tip: Let each child pick one comic to read in the seating area to keep them engaged.
Ramen Museum Food Court:
Sample small bowls of ramen from 700 JPY.
Tip: Order kid-size portions to share flavors and avoid waste.
Family-Friendly Dining:
Choose first-floor cafés offering kids’ chairs and meals from 500 JPY.
Tip: Try the burger or pizza shops for quick, kid-approved meals.

There was not much thing to do here. As when we visited, there was no idol show so we ended up to McDonald (which is nothing special). On top floor, there was a tax free shop and souvenir shop, a huge wheel which cost you about 1000 yen. So if you are not idol fan, so there is no need to stop by this place.

Busy cross road area in Sakae. Can board the observation wheel on 3rd floor of this building. Nothing much inside this building apart from a McDonalds and a drug store
