Stroller loan, elevators, nursing room and diaper tables aid parents with infants, but calm galleries give no play space and crying may disturb others, so suitability is fair.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to use stroller service, visit key galleries, and rest between exhibits with your baby.
Stroller Service & Access Routes:
Borrow a free museum stroller and use ramps and elevators on all floors.
Tip: Ask at the main reception early to secure one of two strollers.
Nursing & Diaper Changing Rooms:
Use the private nursing room in the staff office and changing tables in restrooms on B1, 1F, and 2F.
Tip: Speak with staff at the information desk to be shown the nursing room.
Self-Guided Baby-Friendly Tour:
Walk through spacious galleries using the 'Pocket 学芸員' app for quiet, easy-paced viewing.
Tip: Download the multilingual guide app before arrival and follow wide corridors with your stroller or carrier.
Shirakawa Park Sculpture Garden:
Explore outdoor sculptures and let your baby enjoy fresh air and open paths.
Tip: Visit after indoor exhibits to give your baby room to stretch and play near the small fountain.

¥2500/adult, including special exhibits. Credit cards are ok. A small museum with an upstairs exhibition space for special exhibits, and a basement floor permanent exhibition. It had a nice permanent exhibition. Included are Modigliani, Chagall, Diego Rivera and so on, those who are even famous to the public. It was old building but it was maintained so cleanly. I couldn’t find one single hair in the restroom.

Interesting contemporary art masterpiece, from Mexico, Via Japan, to Europe. And considering that the permanent exhibition is only 300 yen… (2500 if you go to the temporary too) is reallg worth the price

I saw the temporary exhibition and it was FANTASTIC 🤩!! I also visited the permanent exhibition ... It's small... And you know everyone has a different vision on art (can't take off photos there)
