Positives:

  • Free entry for preschoolers: Children under elementary-school age enter the park for free.
  • Accessible paths: All main routes are barrier-free and stroller-friendly.

Challenges:

  • Weekend crowds: The illumination draws many visitors on weekends, leading to longer waits at exhibits.
  • Limited seating: Benches are sparse in the gardens; plan rest stops at cafés between displays.

I visited on a weekday for a night stroll. The weather was cool, and it wasn’t crowded at all, which made for a lovely, peaceful experience. However, the entire park — including all facilities — closes at 9 PM, so I didn’t have much time to walk around since I came after dark, specifically to see the lights. If you want more time to explore, I’d recommend going on a weekend or public holiday when...

Great experience, well worth a visit. Brilliant light show, especially Mount Fuji. Well organised, only thing I would say is the busses are stopping at return at 10pm and the flower gardens closed at 8pm. Entry is 2500yen per person, then various other parts cost additional to see (flower garden, tower view point).

There is a 1000yen voucher that was bundle up with your entrance fee so you can get food inside the park. However,if you need a proper meal you probably have to top up some difference depending on your choice of food. I saw a tourist walking into the flower field (I suppose it’s not accessible for tourists) but I cannot report to the staff. Maybe they should have some staff patrolling in the flowe...

At first right at entrance it looked really small and not much to see. But give it some time and walk around it is a good stroll especially after dinner. The ticket also gives u coupon to use back in the area so it cost is around 600 yen (1000 yen can be used for food) The Fuji mountain ride is not too worth it as there no much to see and only around 5 minutes. The tunnel area is very pretty and...
