Stroller-friendly paths and toilets with changing tables help infants, but shaded spots and on-site nursing rooms are scarce, with breastfeeding space only in adjacent Tonarino, so breaks need planning.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a stroller-friendly walk, pond-side picnic, and baby care breaks.
Stroll along Ofuke Pond:
Walk the paved loop around the pond with castle views.
Tip: Use the flat paths to push your stroller smoothly and pause at benches.
Picnic on the grassy lawns:
Spread a blanket on the wide lawns near the Dutch windmill.
Tip: Bring baby-safe snacks and a sunshade for gentle sun protection.
Rest at Flower Plaza:
Visit the indoor plaza for a calm space and barrier-free toilets.
Tip: Use the baby changing tables and free seating to feed or change your baby.
Take a break at tonarino:
Head to the adjacent complex for cafes, rest areas, and nursing rooms.
Tip: Grab a coffee and reserve a mamaro room if you need privacy for feeding.
