Beautiful park sitting in the middle of the city. Hisaya Ōdori Park is a refreshing green space that stretches through downtown Nagoya, offering a relaxing escape from the busy city life. It’s perfect for a morning walk, an afternoon coffee, or simply people-watching. The park is well-maintained with modern facilities, art installations, and plenty of benches. You’ll also find cafes, shops, and se...

It’s a little park at the city center that featured the illuminated radio tower. There were a few eateries catering to the tourists and foreigners, such as TGI Friday. The tower at night was very photogenic, but other than taking a few photos, there weren’t a whole lot to see or do here.

Hisaya Odori Park is a refreshing escape in the heart of Nagoya, blending modern charm with a touch of nature. Stretching across the city center, it’s more than just a park—it’s a lively urban corridor filled with art installations, cafes, seasonal flowers, and well-maintained walking paths. The iconic MIRAI TOWER adds a striking backdrop, especially when lit up at night. While it’s great for cas...

A comfy park that has options aplenty for dining and coffee breaks. It's strategically located above Sakae metro station. Oasis 21 is in the middle, and Nagoya Castle is located in its north. A lap around is a comfortable 3.5km. I think this is an ideal starting spot for your day to explore Nagoya attractions. That said, it's also offers a nice walk at night.

What a beautiful park to enjoy views, take a leisurely walk, find a bite to eat or grab a refreshing drink. Right next to a big underground mall, the tower and the Oasis 21. We enjoyed an evening here walking around and taking in the sights. There was a yummy Italian restaurant we ate dessert at which was delicious and it was nice getting pictures with the tower as well as seeing Godzilla!
In spring, follow the cherry blossoms along the river. In autumn, stroll under red maples by the orchid garden. Winter evenings feature light-up shows around the TV Tower.
