Aichi Industry & Labor Center (WINC AICHI) (solo trip)

A good business center near the Nagoya train station, where many global events were held regularly.

The conference room at the fifth floor was rather old. The chair was small, the room was dark and warm. Good sanitary facility, wifi works well, but not outside the conference room. The convenience store on the ground level was good to have.

A decent sized convention center / meeting space, it is close to Nagoya station and is surrounded by restaurants. The only problem with the place I can see is that the elevators are a bit wonky in where they are placed and what goes to where. With a large group like ours, it becomes a real issue, though that would be true of most venues.

The venue is clean and well maintained, and there are some nice restaurants in the basement. However, this building only has six elevators and no escalator. The wait for the elevators was about 5 minutes. The only stairs that were available were the emergency stairs, but everyone was using them because the elevators took so long. The conference I attended used the main hall on the third floor ...

My former employer had a professional development meeting on one of the higher floors. The facility adequately suited the group of one hundred people. It was clean and there was plenty of furniture. One downside is they seemed strict about the time the event was to finish and were not that flexible with scheduling.
