Waka Kyoto Kawaramachi Hotel (couple trip)

Small and clean. Very tight space with fridge behind a table. Front staff has limited English skills and would not assist with getting a cab. Would have liked if they could answer common tourist information, staff who spoke English was dismissive.

Decent hotel, great transport links and a konbini right around the corner. Staff were friendly enough and despite the double room being quite small it was very sufficient and the hotel was generally very modern.

Really enjoyed my stay at Waka Kyoto Kawaramachi. We stayed for 4 nights in a twin room. The room was clean, quiet, and the air conditioning worked well. Such a lovely hotel! In a great area walkable to most sights, restaurants, bars, etc. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is super clean and they have extra amenities such as toothbrushes, razors and hairbrushes incase you forgot yours. They also have a washer and dryer on sight you can pay to use.
