⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Village Kyoto! The hotel has been recently renovated, so everything feels new, clean, and super comfortable. The public bath is amazing — perfect for relaxing after a long day in Kyoto — and it’s open all night! 🛁 They even offer free Japanese sake until midnight, tasty tsukemono, and Ace Candy after the bath, all included. 🍶🍬 I decided to stay here at ...

Bus and train station, 7-11 and a grocery store all right by within a stone's throw. Such an amazing price for this place. LARGE room, so clean. Polite staff that speaks English. Free pickles, sake, matcha, pjs, and make your own bookmark. Everything is just thoughtful!!! Would 100% stay again.

Clean, modern, many amenities. Sake tasting is fun! The public baths are awesome. Staff are friendly. The rooms are clean and they offer sweets and matcha in the room daily. The kimono rental was a good rate since you get to wear it for the entire stay. Good location for transit. Would definitely stay here again in Kyoto!

Great location — right across from Family Mart and near a Lawson at the corner. A bus line stops nearby, so getting around is easy. The room was cozy, very clean, with separate toilet and shower areas. There's a small dressing space, an air purifier, and bedding (mattress, blankets, pillows) neatly stored in the closet. They also offer free ice cream, workshops, wine, and access to the onsen dur...

The hotel offers great value for the price. A few suggestions: the pillows are quite soft—it would be helpful if firmer options were available. While the onsen isn’t natural, it’s clean and a nice amenity nonetheless. The staff are courteous and professional. Location is a bit tricky but overall it was a good experience.
