Travelodge Kyoto Shijo Omiya (with kids)

Nice hotel with spacious and family friendly lobby. Female receptionist especially the one who can speak English and Chinese was very helpful and friendly. Hotel is clean and in a great location. The only problem was my bed. It had hair below my pillows and was itchy when wearing the blanket. Maybe cleaners should double check cleanliness of bed.

We had a very pleasant stay at Travelodge Kyoto. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet – perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was excellent, close to public transport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and a real highlight was the free drinks available in the lobby. A small touch, but it made the stay feel even more welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

This location was perfect for us! It was in the middle of everything we wanted to do. There’s also a great cafe close by for a cheap early morning breakfast and bus stops and train stations a walk away. The room was very comfortable, clean and spacious. Especially for two luggage. I had a comfortable stay here. The staff were very helpful and made check-in smooth. The room was decent and had everything I needed. We had a wonderful stay! The room was exceptionally spacious, very clean, and nicely furnished. The beds were huge and incredibly comfortable. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Great value for money overall. The location is very central – everything was easy to reach by bike. Nishiki Market is just around the corner, perfect for exploring and enjoying local food.
