Second time staying but disappointed at this time. While the room was nice and comfortable, the service of front-desk staff was quite disappointing. The staff “佐藤”, if I spell correctly, he was quite distant and unapproachable, there was no hello, no smile, no introduction of the public bath location/time, no confirmation of the room type, no goodbye etc. Nothing but pay and leave. The hotel is right beside the the station. Eat near Kyoto station as there is not much around the hotel . Breakfast buffet is very good to excellent. Rooms are nice. Seperate toilet from the shower and vanity sink is nice. They have a community bath seperate for men or women at the hotel and laundry. TV channels so you can see if the bath is busy or if there is a free washing machine

A stone’s throw from Umekoji station, family mart located conveniently at the entrance of the hotel. Easy access to Kyoto station, nearby bus stops with plenty of restaurants nearby. Room was big and spacious, clean and comfortable with a bath tub. Highly recommend!

Beautiful hotel in the center of Kyoto, I was blown away by how perfect this hotel was. It is located incredibly close to a station, but it was so quiet, you wouldn't even know. The hotel itself was gorgeous, full of helpful and caring employees, and amazing amenities! I would recommend this hotel, and when I go back to Kyoto, I will stay here again.

We appreciated the air con and mini fridge during our stay, as well as the ice dispenser on our floor. Location: Good, right by a train station that goes to Kyoto station, if not it’s only a 20 minute walk. There is a family mart directly under the hotel which came in us...
