The Hedistar Hotel Kyoto Nijo Comic&Books (with baby)

A cozy room with a delightful staff and plenty of manga to read! I finished up (Demon Slayer while I was here!) It has a matcha whisk tea service and a lovely rooftop balcony!

The staff was very kind and attentive and the hotel is nicely connected to metro stations. If the breakfast is not of your liking there is a Lawson convenience store at walking distance. It's also reasonably close to the Pokemon Center of Kyoto (5 to 7 minutes by car)

As per staff I stayed in a large room, can't imagine how are small rooms. It's just a tiny simple midrange hotel. Nothing special nothing wow. People in the reviews section did not travel a lot apparently and did not experience other hotels in their life. Location is good hotel is clean and that's all about this hotel, bus from the station stops directly there. Rooms are so tiny I don't know how 2...

Great hotel. It is clean, friendly service and great amenities. My favorite part was the breakfast. They provide a delicious bento box that kept me energized throughout the day. Also I really liked the free water and coffee station.

I booked the corner room and it did not disappoint! it made the room feel spacious and open and whilst the view wasnt the most spectacular it offers such a different and fun experience. Hotel staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was a nice bento box and miso soup. if the breakfast isnt your taste there are two convenience stores 2 minutes down the road! i will definitely try to come back!
