Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kyoto-Shijokarasuma (solo trip)

Thank you Fresa Inn Team. Ive been to Jimbocho Tokyo and this was amazing. But this one i much much better. Service Team is so friendly and nice. Breakfast was good. Rooms are Big enough and very Clean!

Excellent Sotetsu location, modern building that's got everything you'd expect from the hotel chain. Highly recommended and the staff were very helpful, some spoke English which is highly appreciated. Would happily stay here again, thank you.

I stayed here for 4 nights. The room was clean however the hotel had some disadvantages: the elevator smelled bad, the hallways also smelled old, the room for the laundry had old appliances. I stayed also in Osaka at the same hotel branche and it was significantly different: fresh smell everywhere and new appliances.

This is my second time staying here. The beds are comfortable, the rooms fairly large and the place is beautifully clean. The rooms are cleaned religiously every three days - no exceptions. Security is taken seriously. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is close to the Nischki Markets and main street, and a half hour walk from the station. The bathroom smelled bad. It came from the drain in the sink. I did not notice on the first night because I was exhausted. I could have made a fuss about it and ask to switch but decided it was too much trouble. Also the room gets super cold if you come back late at night because the electricity (hence heating) does not work if your card is not inserted in the slot. The breakfast was amazing on a ...
