I really recommend this accommodation. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, and just a short walk from the station. The staff are super kind and helpful. For the price, it’s honestly such a great place and close to everything you need.

Cheap hotel! For around $30 a night it is an amazing deal. Good location. Friendly staff. The rooms are small. They use a physical old fashioned key instead of modern key cards but what do you want? Try finding a hotel this good for $30 somewhere else.

Overall I give this hotel only 2 stars. This is due to how the bed we slept in appeared. The mattress had clear stains from urine and old sweat evenly over the entire mattress. The staff we met during our 3 night stay appeared to us unwelcoming, several times where they did not greet us and had a general negative attitude.

Solo budget traveler, stayed here for three weeks for study. For the price paid, the room and amenities were excellent, location was short bus rides away from popular spots around Kyoto. Staff were friendly and approachable too. A great place to return to and crash out every night. Will stay here again when I'm in Kyoto!
