Moved my stay at the Moxy. The staff was amazing and really made us feel welcomed for our 9day stay. After our fairly posh hotel in Tokyo this seemed rustic. Small rooms with compact bathrooms. Like sleeping in a playschool. The rooms are TINY. For two people, you could barely have room to manoeuvre around let alone have suitcases open all the time. The stay was amazing! 3 minutes walk from the station, spacious rooms, amazing service and a quiet area that is still close to everything. They have a great bar and also host events like free massages and DJ. Hiro was super helpful and made us feel like we are staying in a 5 star hotel. Great option in Kyoto! Continently located near the JR train and the bus stop. They were very accommodating and even had phone chargers available for us when our luggage transfer was delayed.
