We stayed in Japan hotels because of their convenience in helping delivering luggages to airports or other towns. Usually they will help us in filling forms, and all we have to do is to pay. Excellent location, close to metro/train and temples. Quiet and big room with bath. Good value for money.

Clean and modern hotel in the nice Sanjo district. Very close to many temples, bus stops, subway station, convenience stores and more. Small room, but actually about average for Japanese standards, and suited me perfectly well. Would go back again.

Unfortunately, our stay at M's Hotel Sanjo Wakoku was a big letdown. The photos online are definitely catfishing – they make the rooms look far more spacious and bright than they actually are. In reality, the room was tiny, barely enough space for two people to move around comfortably. stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. room is nice and designed well. located about a 10 min walk away from sanjo station. after checking in, you will receive a receipt with passcodes to enter the hotel and your room. important to keep this so you don’t get locked out! i took a photo to be safe.
