You cannot open the windows. Big drawback for us as there was no fresh air circulation in the room for the entire 3 nights we spent there. The walls are very thin and you can hear whoever is talking outside. But otherwise, the rest was good!

This was a very nice and simple hotel. Nothing fancy, but it had all the typical amenities a person might want from a hotel. Of the places we stayed on our trip, this was my favourite.

Cleanest hotel I've ever had the pleasure of living in. Laundry was easy too, though it's coin operated and costs 800 yen. You just put in the clothes and money and they come out 2 hours later all dry and clean, the machine supplies the detergent.

Great location as it is in the residential area, and we were able to walk a few blocks to get on the bus or metro subway. Therefore you can go anyway easily if you like to use public transport. A few blocks from Nijo castle, also a few blocks from a small community park with a grocery store and several good restaurants. The hotel agents were very friendly and helpful. But the room was a bit smal...

Fantastic value! Easy to check in at the kiosk. I see complaints about the size but it was the biggest room out of the four hotels we stayed in during our trip. Laundry unit inside was convenient and we had no issues with getting our luggage mailed. Great stay for a great price.
