NON-SMOKING, BONUS!!! Our room with 2 twin beds was ok size-wise, in comparison to other big cities’; had a small round table with 2 chairs; 32” lcd tv, not really smart; just a coat rail on the wall with 4 hangers on it- no cubbies, no shelves, no niches, no drawers for clothes; suitcases we kept on the floor; carpeted, with no separation at the front door; so, when you walk in with shoes on, you...

There's not much to say, it's a normal Japanese budget hotel. A fairly large room, tiny bathroom, comfortable bed and everything just works. The price per night was what I would expect from a budget hotel in Japan. The location is quite good, Gojō Station is only a five minute walk away. Kyoto Station is a 20 minute walk away. I like to walk so I usually walked to Kyoto Station in the morning...

Overpriced room with pancake pillows. Feeling the pillows was shocking considering what they charge, seems like they were never replaced for years. The dent is clear and the sheets don’t smell nice, almost of sweat. Our room had a hole in the wall the staff wasn’t even aware of. This was definitely a hotel dealt with, not to be remembered. Wish there were better options for lodging.

We got a free upgrade, but because of this we were on the ground floor. The walls are paper thin and the curtains doesn’t block the sunlight. People who goes out are very loud and they will definitely wake you up. Even if you’re not a light sleeper. There is a metro station very close by, but there isn’t much to do in the area. Wouldn’t go here again

Was a great room. Got the deluxe double for a good price so it was very spacious and clean. The location was close to everything we wanted to see; easily within a 20 minute walk or by bus or train. It was right by Gojo station. Service was good. There isn't as much staff but the self check in and check out was very easy. I loved the free to read manga. Would stay here again.
