Kyoto Tower Hotel (couple trip)

Perfect location in Kyoto. The reception is on the 8th floor. Big rooms, good ac, and a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

We stayed here to explore Kyoto. It was a pleasant stay; we arrived early with our baggage, so they kept it for us while we went out to explore. Check-in was smooth, and all the staff were very nice and friendly. Our room was spacious, with a lounge next to the window. Nice place. Right next to the train station, good rooms, great breakfast, and fantastic service. The front desk clerk, Seiji Ibi, was extremely helpful in helping me find my wallet, which I left on the bullet train. I would stay here again if in Kyoto

This hotel is dated, tired, unclean, with a definite need of renovation The room we had showed sign of Water damage with stains on the walls and ceiling. The room furniture was tired and worn. The bathroom tiles were very mouldy. The breakfast on offer was not part of the booking & extremely expensive at 5500yen pp. We did not accept and shopped locally.
