The hotel is rather close to Kyoto station, which is convenient. Toji temple and Toji station are even closer. It made it nice to walk to Toji temple during my stay, as well as get around on public transportation. The room was small, but plenty large for me. It was clean and western style.

stayed during last days of the scholarship time in Kyoto last year. The service was good, staffs were friendly and rather fluent in English and also really helpful. Room was decently big for 1 person, quite clean and convenient. Recommended for budget trip.

I have started to enjoy this type of hotels in Kyoto. Friendly staff but with a convenient distance, amenities available to take. Rooms are clean and have windows however the design could use some changes. Quiet and peaceful yet in very central location. Late check-in available.
