We stayed here for three nights and it was a great base for visiting Kyoto with the train station really close by. Excellent access to the Arashiyama area. The hotel has 5 private onsens available 24-7 and a lighting system lets residents know which are occupied or available (most of the time all were available). There are also female only and male only onsens. The bedrooms were very clean and com...

We stayed there for two nights, on April 27 and 28. From the moment we arrived, everyone was very attentive throughout the entire process, from the selection of our yukatas to use at the hotel. Room 226 was spotless and had a traditional Japanese feel. We loved it. The hotel, the service, and the location were excellent. They have a public onsen and several private ones for couples. It was a fanta...

Overpriced hotel, issues from check-in up until departure! For some reason, the receptionist took our umbrellas and it rained for an hour so we were drenched. Then, the private onsen is ok but nothing to specifically choose this hotel over. The balcony of the room was nicely furnished but the pollution was so high we couldn't even use it for a minute. The double bed mattress was really uncomfortab...

There’s a lot to love about this place! It’s beautiful, there’s 24/7 access to the private baths and public baths run overnight. But outside of the Onsen itself, the room’s tatami mats are definitely starting to mold and the scent is pretty strong, and the amenities are really hard to use. Breakfast you get a strict 2.5 hour window, Yukata counter was out our entire stay, etc… For the premium pr...

I loved our stay here, we had a huge bed with comfy pillows and plenty of space. They have a public bath house but I was with my partner and we both have tattoos so went to the private onsen. So happy to find a tattoo friendly onsen option! We only waited for a few mins and they were clean and private. It's such a great location, close to the train and the Bamboo Forest. I would stay here again 👌
