Stayed here as part of a walkjapan tour. Only for one night. Rooms are average. Weird smell in the room but nothing to be alarmed by. Bed and bathrooms are clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. The main Kyoto shopping area is a 15min walk with many convenience stores littered along the way.

Perfect location!! Can't get any better. Good customer service. Good rooms. Loud walking/running upstairs. Horrible beds. Unreal uncomfortable. Very cheap bedding. If you want to be central and close to everything, but not sleep, this place is absolutely perfect!!

Great hotel in the centre of everything in Kyoto, some great places around to eat. Bus stops are closeby to get to any of the sights in Kyoto. Would recommend this hotel to stay if looking to be on a budget yet have everything in the hotel. The hotel has a coin laundry which makes it easy.

Rooms were very clean. Japanese standard size. Complimentary tea and coffee on the lobby. Also creams and lotions and all kind of toiletries you might need. A bit of a walk from the train station (about 20-25 minute walk), there are buses though. If you don’t mind the walk, it is a very nice one if you take the small side streets. Supermarket and restaurants very close.
