Got the Japanese style room with tatami mat for beds. The hotel itself is pretty old and the fixtures inside the room also suggest so. The toilet was quite run down and dirty. this hotel is close to kyoto JR station which makes it easy to get around all over the Kyoto area. The rooms are small but manageable. The bathrooms are also small and would benefit from modernisation. however they are clean. One excellent feature is a washing machine in every room.
