Great location. Room had a very bright light on the Air Conditioner Panel that we had to find a way to cover. Bathroom was incredibly small, think motorhome/trailer sized. Luggage forwarding service was very helpful. The Temple next door will wake you up at 6AM with a drum!

This is a wonderful place to stay in Kyoto. The entrance is a bit tricky to find, it's in an alley, but once you do, you'll love it. You are just steps away from local culture, tiny shops, and a modern city feel. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. We loved it here.

I stayed at Hotel Gran Ms Kyoto for 3 nights in September and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel has a great location — it’s very close to the subway, with a bus stop nearby, and there’s even a 7-Eleven right beside the hotel which was super convenient.
