Fauchon Hotel Kyoto (solo trip)

This place is amazing We stayed 3 night Breakfast was included and it was out of this world good. The rooms are spacious and have so many cute touches We did dinner at the restaurant the last night and it was stunning. Location was great- atmosphere perfection and everyone is just beyond kind. Highly recommend

Amazing stay. Loved the warm greeting, attention to detail and fantastic spa. Staff was incredibly helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, from handing us an umbrella (because we stepped outside the lobby to check the weather) to hailing a taxi and ensure they had the correct destination address. Will definitely return here!!!

The Fauchon Kyoto is absolutely sublime. The rooms are exquisite, the service is exceptional (the kind of service that you dream about getting). Every staff member genuinely goes out of their way to make your stay excellent. All other hotels don’t live up to this high standard.

Very special hotel. Great location and near trains. Clean. Attentive staff. The hotel is close to the river, which allows beautiful scenic walks. The rooms have a fun vibe, are spacious, and stocked with whatever was needed: toiletries, snacks, umbrellas, etc. We loved the breakfast – staff went out of their way to ensure dietary restrictions were met, and the food was top-notch!
