Agora Kyoto Shijo (couple trip)

I really loved staying here. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are warm and comfy. They offer complementary coffee, tea and matcha that you can make yourself. And the stuff is extra friendly. When I return to Kyoto I’d definitely stay here. Thank you!

A 4-Star hotel looks and feels different to me. The rooms are ok from the size, but in general not really clean. Large stains on the carpet and walls, staff not really friendly or smiling. The bar is miserable - service and drinks below average and there isn‘t even a Lobby Area.

Cozy small hotel mixing modern and traditional japanese design and vibe in a very natural way. The room was very nice, clean, providing all we needed. Service was very friendly and accommodating. Location is great, easy to get anywhere on foot or with public transport. The only downside is that they only have 2 washing machines for the whole hotel

Really good location, only 15mins away by bus from Kyoto station. It is also at the top of the high street so easy access to shops and food within 10mins walk. There was also a takoyaki corner right outside the entrance. Staff was friendly. Check in was easy but need to pay city tax upon arrival. Elevators to the room. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and accommodating, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room was larger than expected, clean, and well-maintained, with a pleasant view of the street that added a touch of local life.
