Surprisingly good! The area was somewhat out of the way but my son enjoyed the ninja activities as well as the ninja show - even if we don't understand Japanese at all. The ninja activities are somewhat geared for kids more than their parents, maybe except for the escape room as that will require the parent's assistance for younger kids. The Evangelion attraction would tickle fans of the anime an...

If you are into old Japanese traditional life style, then worth paying a visit. Some attractions also for children: ninja, sword fight etc. I personally didn’t really enjoy it … but it’s about my taste. You pay the entry but inside for other activities you have to pay extra… so better get some information upfront. Overall it’s not a must … just nice to have (my opinion 😊). Enough parking options ...

Only visit if you are a fan of ninjas and Evangelion, otherwise the ticket price are abit expensive. The park is designed like an old Japan era, with the buildings, costumes, and vibes. We went there on Saturday and there are alot of kids around. Since we are a big Eva fans, seeing the giant Eva was awesome, you get to take picture with it, and then enter the Eva and try the pilot experience. They...

So glad we went! We went to almost every tourist attraction in Kyoto and wasn’t sure if this park was worth a visit. So glad we went. Our kids loved the park and all the attractions. We also paid extra to rock climb. The female at the desk was cold and not friendly at all. Luckily our climbing instructor Yuta was kind and great with the kids!! He helped make the climbing experience so worth it.

Nice place to spend half a day in. You can enjoy the place in 3 hours max, thinking if the price was worth it. It can be. I mainly went for the Evangelion Statue which was definitely the best part of the attraction. I highly recommend you get the card offered to you and take the photo in front of the statue professionally. It’s free, and you get the option to pay for the other pictures. It’s an ex...
In spring, watch the Oiran Do-Chu courtesan parade among cherry blossoms. In summer, start early to beat afternoon heat and head indoors to the Ninja Mystery House.
