WPÜ Hotel Hakone (solo trip)

Stayed for two days. Ambience at nice was very quite. Staff was friendly and breakfast was very good. Sadly many restaurants close in the area very early but the hotel does do movie nights.

Very good hotel. Can get a bit loud in the room in the morning- if your windows are facing the Main Street. Sound isolation is not the strongest side of the rooms design.They provide earplugs tho. Very clean. Very good breakfast - scrambled eggs were perfect. Onsen is nice and accommodations are top level.

Its located right outside the train station. I stayed here 1 night during my Hakone visit and I am so glad for this place because the hotel I stayed in prior night was just awful (separate review on it) Room was spacious and clean. Completely faultless stay at this lovely little hotel. The staff at reception and at the restaurant were beyond helpful - I am vegetarian and my partner is gluten intolerant which makes eating in Japan a little tricky but they went above and beyond to accommodate. The hotel is pretty new with big and comfortable areas. The rooms are beautiful and the views of our room were great. It has a lot of facilities and the staff is really helpful and friendly. They offer gluten-free products and vegetarian if you ask for it.
