This review is about 20 years past due but better late than never. It may have been known as a different hotel then but I remember enjoying the hotel. In particular the Onsen. The staff as usual in Japan are very polite. I remember conserving with my limited Japanese with the ladies that made up my Futon at night I hope to return one day on my next trip to Japan.

The hotel was spacious and it's an apartment style hotel where there is multiple rooms that can fit 5 of us altogether. The receptionist was very friendly and he conversed with us in Malay using the translator machine which I found very interesting and heartfelt. The natural onsen within the hotel was one of the key reason we booked the hotel and it was -1 degree out so the onsen was a good choice...

The hotel very is good, it's one of those places where you can disconnect. e Everything is clean; however I'd recommend it only if you go by car, there are hills literally everywhere around so it ends up a little annoying going anywhere. There's an small konbini nearby that closes at 4 so if you want anything past 4pm you have to walk like 18min of hills

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful town. The private Onsen is a good introduction to public bathing, especially with a teenager in tow. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. Would recommend

This is a luxurious hotel for not a too high price. Very clean rooms. The rooms were rather hot (24 C) and we were not allowed to change the AC setting. There was not alot of restaurants open close by. The nearest open convenience store was a 16 minute walk away. It’s not a very walkable spot. The onsen was very nice. It is overall such a nice and relaxing hotel.
