A truly romantic escape in the heart of Hakone. The private open-air onsen with mountain views was unforgettable. Every detail felt crafted for relaxation and connection. Perfect for couples looking for a quiet retreat.

Family of four stayed only one night. Service was excellent. Room is spacious and transformed into very nice bedding area. Private onsen available inside the unit. Location is superior, walking only less than 5 minutes from Gora station. All is good except wifi connection inside the room is super unstable.

The room had outdated appliances, some with visible stains, and felt generally unclean. The interior of the hotel is worn and in need of renovation. Food was the biggest letdown. While the ingredients were fresh, the dishes felt overcomplicated, were poorly prepared, and hot dishes were lukewarm at best. We were so unhappy we skipped most meals, even after the reception said they wouldn’t refund ...

The hotel is not bad, but the rooms need renovation, and the price is simply too high. My recommendation for service improvement would be to provide some explanation of the Japanese traditional breakfast - we couldn’t understand what we were eating - and the staff was not able to explain.
