Location: 3 mins walk to Gora station, where you can take Cable car to Souzan, then take ropeway to Owakudani for stunning view of the valley and down to Lake Ashi. Located a short walk from Gora station, it's an excellent location for visiting lake ashi and catching a glimpse of the full glory of Mt Fuji. The only downside is most of the stores in the area close early, as early as 5pm. Be prepared with snacks, drinks and whatever you need in advance.
