Traditional Japanese hotel, quaint and fairly comfortable. They have common baths separated for gender. Think ‘simple’. There is no room service, no laundry service or facility. The bathroom is basic, fluorescent lighting from the 70’s. Our booking included breakfast and a couple of dinners. Both were in private rooms, but the food is polarising. We didn’t eat 80% of what was served up. But it’s...

We just had a truly unforgettable two-night stay at this incredible hotel. The traditional Japanese room was absolutely amazing and made us feel so connected to nature. It was a perfect escape to listen to the sounds of crickets and gaze at the stars. The onsen was the highlight—it genuinely felt like it cleansed my soul and melted away all my anxiety. The staff here are truly a gem. They were so...

We got a ver spacious traditional unit, with separate bedroom and living room, great balcony, private Onsen, two separate showers and toilets. We were provided traditional Japanese outfit and slippers. The facilities was great with public o send as well. A very unique experience.

While this Ryokan is further down from the Hakone-Yumoto Station, it was completely worthwhile to stay here. On that note, there are shuttle services in the morning. It is much cooler in the washroom side, but the water just didn’t get warm on the sink. The message said ...

Rooms in poor repair, walls filthy l, window screens stuck on with Gaffa tape so flying critters got in when we had it open and we were given one little towel that was for use in the shower and the onsen. We booked well in advance so we could be ne...
