There are a lot of comments here about the smell. It’s 100% true. It’s old & musty and the hotel is so hot in the hallways. Everywhere you look they’re trying to cut corners. No washlets in the public area restrooms, escalator going up only, a/c in dining room dripping water without any slippery when wet sign. First off, the reason I gave the property 3 stars is their tattoo policy. I have stayed at many onsens and usually a westerner with a small tattoo can simply cover the tattoo and enjoy the baths. Rooms: rooms were pretty spacious with a great view and the amenities that came along with them were a nice touch, I have no complaints about the room itself, however I am also including the game room that is on the lobby in the “room” category, the game room is “ok” there are some claw machine games and 2 ping pong tables, however it is pretty hidden and the overall atmosphere of the room is kind...

Perfect place to relax! The staff is incredible reliable and kind. We arrived early and we were able to check in our luggage early. Then when we arrived to the rooms later on that day, the luggage was in our room. There is possibility to book a massage or even kaiseki dinner that we totally recommend 👌 For the connection to the yumoto train station, there is a frequent shuttle available.
