Hakone Kowakien Miyama-furin (solo trip)

I stayed at here and had a great experience. The hot spring was very relaxing, and the room was clean and comfortable. Although there’s a bit of a hill to climb and There are no nearby convenience stores and restaurants, the peaceful atmosphere made it worth it.

Stayed here based on booking.com reviews. Overall my consensus is it serves its basic purpose of a place to sleep with onsen but that's where it ends. Pro Lovely traditional royaken hotel, with futon beds and onsen; friendly welcoming staff. Beautiful setting. We had a free pass to the neighbouring hotel's hot spa and onsen as well. Our stay at Kowakien Miyamafurin was absolutely wonderful. Loved their Japanese style rooms. Service was excellent. Though they did not have a lot of breakfast options, they did provide the best for a hotel without any restaurant. The location is just 100 meters from the Horaein Bus stop. Overall, an extremely wonderful experience and would definitely visit again sometime in the near future.

We stayed one night for a weekend getaway at Yunessun spa. Although the hotel seemed to have aged, it is very well maintained and clean.
