What makes it 87% Kids-Friendly: Kids can splash in the shallow summer fountain, spot water lilies, and join dye-craft workshops; lawns give play space, yet the lack of playground gear or rides may limit excitement.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: This fits kids' energy levels and covers major attractions like the fountain and greenhouse.
Splash at Arcadia Plaza Dancing Fountain:
Kids run through shallow water jets safely.
Tip: Bring a change of clothes and non-slip shoes.
Explore the Tropical Dome Greenhouse:
Walk among 300 tropical plant species inside a heated dome.
Tip: Go early to avoid crowds and keep kids warm.
Join a Plant-Dyeing Workshop:
Make natural dyes from plum petals during the Plum Festival.
Tip: Reserve spots on festival weekends and wear old clothes.
Picnic Under Plum Trees:
Spread a mat in Keiryu no Bairin and let children play.
Tip: Pack snacks and a picnic sheet for views of Mt. Tanzawa.
Enjoy Café Hibiscus Treats:
Try gelato and tropical juice floats at the park café.

Plum blossoms were very nice. Be careful to check the bus schedule, as it runs only twice an hour.
