Nishitetsu Hotel Croom Hakata Gion Kushida Shrine (solo trip)

We traveled as a family of three and booked two rooms: a Twin Japanese-style room and a Stay Type room with a washing machine. The room sizes were relatively compact, but the space utilization was decent. However, there were several issues with my room during our stay. Rooms are a bit small but nice and clean. Restrooms are in the back of the room near the window (instead of near the entrance door) so can hear the outside easier.. Was a little noisy when other guests came and went

I arrived at 10.20 am. and was able to place my backpack in the locker. By the time I left the lobby at about 11.10 am, there was a sign informing the guests that there was no more room for carry-on. (Tbc)

Great location and foreigner friendly. Most importantly, the staff and the services were great. They provides clear instructions on every amenities, such as how to operate washing machines, air-con etc Will book again if I visit Fukuoka another time!

Views are not great, but it is basically an apartment located close to the main public transit station and tons of places to drink. in room: washer/dryer, microwave, mini-fridge, kitchen sink, hot plate, electric kettle...in addition the the usual stuff. not huge, but still about twice the size of other places I've stayed in Japan.
