Nishitetsu Grand Hotel (couple trip)

Hotel was nice n clean. Room facilities all in order. Location was also good, near the Tenjin subway n only 5 stops away fm the airport. There r many shopping areas around the vicinity.

Great to have a spacious, comfortable room after cramped conditions in other cities. Great staff, comfortable lounge and a welcoming bar where expert bar man can take you through the merits of an extensive Japanese whisky collection to find the perfect smokey pour

“Grandfather old antique clock 🕰️” is how I would describe this hotel. I’m sure it had its glorious days. Nishitetsu Grand Hotel is like a grand old dame on the block, elegant and beautiful in its own class. I stayed in room 406 that had the view of its own in-house shrine (see photo). I felt so blessed already. I appreciated its proximity to the Tenjin shopping area, and the hotel has at least seven restaurants in its premise-I felt so spoilt for choices.

Came in as a family of 15 and booked 6 rooms - the staff handled us well and the hotel had lots of space in the lobby for our family to lounge. The rooms are small but big enough for 2-3 people plus luggage. The hotel is a bit old but you won't feel like it's run down. The housekeeping also does a great job making the room everyday.
