There should be a sign indicating that a table is occupied. I was traveling solo, and whenever I got up to get something, the staff came immediately and tried to take away my plate, even though the seats were not full.

The room window was so close to the next building and it was fogged up, Therefore, the room was dark and sunlight couldn't come through at all, The window was also locked, so I couldn't open it to ventilate the room.
