Amazing park! During the summer its very hot but lots of big trees which gives a lot of shade when needed. For ¥250 we also visited the Japanese garden, 10/10 recommend. Very relaxing and quiet, not a lot of people.

A nice park with an island in the center in the lake. It was nice and tranquil away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was cool to see some ducks in the lake and I was thoroughly impressed with the sheer size of the lake. A nice break to help you recharge and be at peace before resuming your exploration of the city!

Beautiful park surrounding a lake with islands and bridges splitting the lake from North to Southwest. Lovely place for a walk or to pedal boat. Lots of photo opportunities and there’s a designated fishing area for recreational anglers. Food or refreshments are available at the Northern and Southern parts of the park.

When I was a kid, I often came here with my brother and did fishing a lot! Very memorable place and after over 20 years later I got to come back again! It’s still nice place to roam around and walk through the park! We had a little pick nick there! :) If you have a spare time in Fukuoka, come visit and have a relaxing time here! Cheers 🥂
