What makes it 76% Kids-Friendly: Elementary-age kids get stamp rallies, building workshops and 27-game VS PARK, with toilets and food nearby; however some games cost extra and under-6s have few play options.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for statue shows, VS PARK games, workshops, and shopping.
Daytime ν Gundam Show:
The statue moves its shoulder and head to music every hour between 10:00–18:00.
Tip: Arrive 10 minutes early at the photo deck for clear, unobstructed views.
Night Projection Show:
Animated battle scenes project onto the statue walls from 19:00–21:00.
Tip: Check the daily schedule and secure a spot 5 minutes before the show.
VS PARK WITH G:
Interactive Gundam-themed sports zone with races, dodge games, and more.
Tip: Book 2-hour passes online in advance; kids under elementary age enter free with a paying adult but can’t play.

Tip: Complete all six stamps for an extra lottery ticket at the final station.

Gundam here is majestic. View from south carpark lv6 is the best. Lights off at 9:30pm.

Absolutely make the time to see this 1:1 scale Gundam. See it at night and day time. At night at certain times they play a 3-5 anime video and the Gundam moves and has a light show. There's a trailer outside with merchandise but also go inside the Lalaport mall 4th floor for Gundam Park which has arcade games and a store to buy Gundam merchandise.

The Gundam statue is huge and really impressive to see up close. The details are amazing and it’s such a cool spot to visit, especially for fans. A very nice landmark and definitely worth checking out.

This experience was really cool. This trip to Japan was filled with everything gundam. This was the first time seeing this statue in action. It was really cool to see it move. Would have loved to stay and watch the events from 7pm to 9pm, but we got there at open and ran out of stuff to do by 2pm. It's really cool and highly recommended if you're a gundam fan.

Waiting one hour for a little bit of movement is not that worth it. He raises his hand and turns his head, and that is it. I guess you can wait inside the mall because there are a lot of flies and mosquito outside for some reason. Just looking at it standing still is cool, but it is pretty far from the main area of Fukuoka and need to take a train and then walk a bit to go to it.
Join the free Stamp Rally (Jul 19–Aug 31) for summer prizes. In winter, projections start as early as 17:00—bring jackets.
