Babies enter free and parents can borrow strollers and use the 1F nursing room, but no toilets on observation floors mean you must feed or change before ascent, so the visit is pleasant yet mildly inconvenient.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Includes elevator wait, baby room breaks, and a snack at the sky café.
Observation Deck Views:
Ride the high-speed elevator to the 123 m deck for 360° views of Hakata Bay and Fukuoka city.
Tip: Go right at opening to avoid lines. Hold baby near windows for best view.
Baby Room & Diaper Change:
Use the private nursing and changing room in the 1st-floor women’s restroom before ascent.
Tip: Change diapers here; no toilets on higher floors. Ask staff for directions.
Free Stroller Rental:
Borrow a baby stroller at the ticket counter on the 1st floor for easy movement.
Tip: Limited supply—arrive early. Return stroller at exit when done.
Sky Café Snack Break:
Grab a sandwich or drink at the café on the 2nd observation deck with city views.
Tip: Choose window seats for the view. Order light items that fit baby’s schedule.
Photo Fun Spots:
Take family photos at the mirror sail exterior and the mini heart arch on 1F.
Tip: Use the fixed camera stand or selfie mirror for stable, hands-free shots.

I’ve been to many towers in Japan. This one I would say is considerably similar to others. However the view is different. I went up around 7pm so I could catch both daytime view and night view. They are stunning. I thought it would be packed with people but it was ok. No line for getting tickets, didn’t wait much at all for going up and down. 1000 yen justified for me.

Fukuoka Tower is beautiful, especially at night when it’s lit up. The observation deck offers an amazing view of the city and the sea. A great spot for taking photos and watching the sunset. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Fukuoka!

Not the Tower's fault, we took a gamble on if the weather would hold out. The rain and clouds came about 10 minutes after we got to the top. Once the clouds hit, we couldn't see anything. It had a 6 stamp rally. Photos to take awesome foggy photos in 2 spots. There is a love locket and a pin ball machine to get your fortune! We still had a good time with what we had!

You get exactly what you expect : a very nice view of this beautiful city, from one of the highest towers in this country. Like other reviewers, I recommend visiting at night. There is also a restaurant up there that you can book supposedly. All in all, it's pretty good value for 800 yen

Its really a long long walk from the nearest station 🚶♀️ 🚶♀️ 🚶♀️ you will pass through an educational sector of Fukuoka, university and elementary schools. The tower is amazing to look at and you can spot it from far away. It really is a tower camouflaged into an office tower form. No wait at all as it wasn’t really a busy or popular pick. The view from the top is amazing and seeing the sea,...
