Tabist Lakeside in Fujinami Yamanakako (with baby)

We only stayed one night and decided to leave because we did not feel comfortable. Even though the amenities for guests are properly cleaned there are parts of the building on the interior that are derelict and closed of with improvised barriers. This combined with the amount of pest control products results in an eerie experience that gave us an unsafe feeling.

My family really enjoyed the stay!!! Experienced traditional Japanese style rooms and most importantly we were able to witness Mt fuji in its glory from our window. Owner is very kind and polite.The place and facilities were kept very clean Only suggestion is that it would have been good if there was restrooms in each floor, other than that it was the best stay we had in Japan!!!

Owner was very friendly. The view of the mountain felt surreal, as our room faced it directly and had clear skies. The owner let us play with his shiba as well as recommended a great izakaya. My girlfriend and I would come back 100%

Tabist is a place for those finding escape from the hustle and bustle of a city's life. We visited in January where temps got to -8 at night. The room was a bit chilly I won’t lie but after a bit the AC kicked in. Views are 11/10 from the balcony, location and service were excellent.
