Cannot rave enough about this place! It was absolutely breath taking and incredible. This was the perfect stay to relax and reset for our Japan journey. We loved our stay!! It was the best stay in our Japan Trip! And for the price that I saw of other Ryorkans not too bad (but it depends the type of room you choose). We had the twin room and it had lots of space & beautiful view of the lake! The hotel is stunning & they have great customer service. I was surprised that the cocktail hr & snacks were easily dinner. So we did not need dinner elsewhere...

Overall a beautiful hotel, limited number of guests so it doesn't feel too crowded. The hot tub in room is as good as the public bath. Good for those who prefers privacy. The lounge food is comforting but seems limited, they don't refill the food at a later timing.
