Please do not book!! It's a mistake that we booked. Regardless of the awards, the hotel is as old as a grandpa, and with the smells too. This is a honest review. There were not enough honest reviews that made us book. If you are a nostalgic person, definitely for you. Everything ran down, for level 6 and level 8, you need to change lifts. Please refer to Eddie's review as well. Im ashamed of mysel...

What a lovely stay! The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating — they truly made our visit special. The onsen with its scenic view was a highlight, and the meal was absolutely delicious. Our room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed every moment of it. We would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

The hotel is a bit old but everything else was fine. Room is cute like in Doraemon. We slept on a mattress and fluffy blanket. The view is amazing. We booked a room with breakfast and dinner. It was super good and authentic. Recommended!

Japanese style hotel. A bit old and outdated but I think it's charming with Tatami, futon and closet like where Doraemon sleep. If you arrive at station after 3 pm you can call hotel for free pick up service, just 10-15 mins then they're there. We've got a room at 10th floor so bit of a walk from main building to our room but it's fine there, great view of Fuji and lake. Room were nice in Japanese...

We booked a traditional Japanese room with tatami floor and futon. The experience was beautiful. Despite arriving on a cloudy and rainy day we woke up to a awe-inspiring view of Mount Fuji. We also enjoyed the onsen during our stay which opens early and closes very late. All the staff were super respectful of my partner and I, we would stay again.
