Positives:

  • Stroller-friendly paths: Wide, flat lakeside paths allow easy stroller and wheelchair access
  • Free playground and lawn: All playsets and open spaces are complimentary at the park

Challenges:

  • Limited shade in flower fields: Summer blooms have few trees nearby; bring sun protection
  • Crowds at peak bloom: Lavender season in late June–July draws photographers and can feel busy

Oishi Park is beautiful even in winter without flowers or snow. The lake is calm and quiet, perfect for a peaceful walk or a moment to relax. Fewer people this time of year make it feel like your own private spot.

Basically one of the most beautiful places I’ve been in my entire life. We went visit on summer and the lavenders were so pretty. Here you can see the Mount Fuji in its best shape, absolutely gorgeous. I’m so happy because I had added this place to my trip schedule… incredible.

Phenomenal views. The gardens are beautiful, especially with Mount Fuji in the background. The park can become very crowded, with many tourists taking pictures. However, it is still worth visiting. There is also a playground and cafe with many ice cream flavors.
