The views from the top were very beautiful, and it was worth coming to this place. We immediately bought a ticket for the cable car and for a boat ride on the lake, and we enjoyed both activities. The only downside was that the cable car cabins were old and creaked, which was scary, and too many people were loaded into one cabin.

The Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway is such a fun and scenic experience! The cable car ride takes you up to a viewpoint where, on a clear day, you get an incredible view of Mount Fuji. Unfortunately, it was super cloudy when I visited, so we didn’t get to see Fuji in all its glory but that’s just how Mother Nature works sometimes! At the top, there’s a small food and ice cream stand. I totally recommen...

A great way to enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi from above. The ropeway takes you up to an observation deck where you can admire the stunning scenery and take memorable photos. The ride itself is short but enjoyable, offering a smooth ascent with panoramic views. There are also a few small attractions and shops at the top. The round-trip ticket costs 1,000 yen as of Mar...

The ropeway is open at 8.30am if possible try to reach before opening time to catch the first car to the peak to avoid the crowd. We are not that lucky on that day because Mt Fuji did not show up to say hello to us. The view is still great without Mt Fuji. Return tickets for adult is 1000 yen. Is just a very short ride to the peak 5 to 10 minutes. Worth the time and money.
