Babies can tour flat Oishi Park or indoor heritage centers with nursing rooms, yet high-altitude 5th Stations lack diaper tables and summit trails forbid strollers, so caregivers need careful planning and limits.
Why 1-2 days visit duration is ideal for with baby: A full day lets you enjoy stroller-friendly walks, indoor exhibits, and a calm boat ride without rushing with your baby.
Oishi Park Lakeside Walk:
Flat, paved paths along Kawaguchi Lake ideal for strollers and picnics.
Tip: Arrive early to find parking near restrooms and picnic tables.
Fujisan World Heritage Center:
Interactive exhibits on Fuji’s geology and culture with elevator access.
Tip: Use the nursing room on the second floor before exploring displays.
Lake Kawaguchi Pleasure Boat Ride:
20-minute lake cruise offering clear views of Mount Fuji from the water.
Tip: Board at the south dock; infants ride free on a guardian’s lap.

Amazing experience. We climbed to the summit. It took us 8 hours to get up there (you will be told by the officer that it will take 6 hours to get to the summit-but don’t worry you are not alone-to take more time than 6 hours that is). 2 hours to hike around the crater and 4 hours down. Definitely one of the best views I've ever seen. The moutain is 40Km in diameter and 3,7Km of altitude. Seen from Tokyo, 130 Km away from Mt. Fuji. Definitely an empowering view that demands respect from anyone lucky enough to see it with their own two eyes

One of the best experiences in my life. But it is not as easy as it looks. It's almost a uphill vertical climbing after 7th Station. If weather is good then you are in Bliss but here weather changes like in hourly basis. Be prepared for Sun and Rain all the times.

The best experience I’ve ever had. Even though I’m not an athlete and faced some challenges climbing Mount Fuji, every second of that moment was worth it. After the eighth station, it gets really cold, but the view is absolutely surreal. The best photos are taken in the early morning, so don’t forget to take it all in and enjoy.
