Babies board free and strollers roll on easily, yet there is no diaper table, nursing space, or toilet, and the upper deck can be windy, so caregivers need to stay below and carry all baby supplies.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to walk from the station, board, and enjoy the cruise without rushing.
Barrier-Free Boarding:
Roll your stroller onto the lower deck via the flat gangway at Funatsuhama Pier.
Tip: Arrive 10 minutes early to secure space near the wall and avoid the push of boarding crowds.
Relax in the Tatami Cabin:
Sit on cushioned tatami benches and watch the 50-inch monitor display Mt. Fuji history and seasons.
Tip: Use this indoor space if it gets windy or starts to rain to keep your baby dry and warm.
Spot the Upside-Down Fuji:
Look for the inverted reflection of Mt. Fuji on the calm lake surface.
Tip: Choose a clear day and stay on the lower deck for safer viewing with a baby.

Quite a nice ride with opportunities to take some great pictures of the lake and Fuji. It’s only around 20 minutes duration and they charge half price for disabled people

It was a pleasant experience overall with a great vivid view of mount Fuji. What's not appreciated by tourists is the tour being conducted exclusively in Japanese.

You can buy the tickets online or go to the machine and buy on the same day. Boat will go around the Lake Kawaguchi. If the weather is good you can see Mt. Fuji. The scenary was nice. We were lucky that we mange to see Mt. Fuji.

Best thing is you can buy the boat tour, the sightseeing rope and the bus pass from them for 2800 yen. 2 days free shuttle busses (red green and blue busses) and one entry for boat and rope. Totally worth it if ...
