Stroller-friendly promenades, changing tables at station and travel base, and short sightseeing buses help parents, yet uneven sections, few shaded nursing spots, and many steps on ropeway lower comfort.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Fits a short cruise, lakeside strolls, and park time without tiring the baby.
Ubuyagasaki Cape Stroll:
Walk the flat, paved path on the small cape jutting into Lake Kawaguchi.
Tip: Visit in the morning for soft light and quiet; benches along the way are good for quick breaks.
Lake Kawaguchi Pleasure Boat:
Board the 20-minute cruise to see Mount Fuji reflected on the water.
Tip: Arrive 10 minutes early to secure stroller space and board before crowds; baby rides free.
Kawaguchiko General Park:
Enjoy open lawns and a small playground by the lakeshore.
Tip: Bring a picnic blanket and snacks; restrooms with changing tables are steps from the grass.
Mt. Fuji Panorama Ropeway:
Ride up Mt. Tenjo for panoramic lake and Fuji views.
Tip: Fold stroller before boarding; use a baby carrier for the short stairs at each station.
Sightseeing Bus Loop:
Hop-on, hop-off bus connecting Ubuyagasaki, park, ropeway and other lakeside spots.
Tip: Buy a 2-day ¥1500 pass per adult; store stroller in the luggage bay on the lower deck.

The lake below Mount Fuji is a beautiful one. The rope way journey near the lake gives fantastic view on the surroundings and Mt Fuji. The cruise in the lake is also very interesting

The beauty of the Lake is magnified by the backdrop of Mt. Fuji, the vast blue sky and the lovely breezes. The blueberry tea in the souvenir shop is a good company to this scenic splendour!

Amazing views even if Mt. Fuji was shy today. Oishi Park offers nice views of the lake as well as a gift shop and ice cream. The cremia on the second floor was amazing. Creamy and not overly sweet. A definite must!!

The lake is stunning. The lake is so blue. Very relaxing. U can take the cruise out or paddler the Swan boat to see the lake.

This lake is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views perfect. I highly recommend renting a bicycle or car to explore the quieter, less touristy spots along the shoreline.
