Kawaguchiko Tenjozan Park — often referred to simply as Kachikachi-yama Ropeway area — is one of the most popular spots for panoramic views and photos of Mount Fuji. It’s especially famous for its scenic observation deck, which can be easily accessed by ropeway, making it very friendly for elderly visitors or those with limited mobility. That said, it gets extremely crowded. Even on regular weekd...

Hiked up to the sumit on a very wet rainy day, no hydrogeneas, think its too early in 1st week of june. Just saw a sea of green. The uphill walking path was not very wide thus it was a little challenging trying to avoid the plants on the side, with the rain water running down while trying to hold an umbrealla. Reached the top in about 35mins, still a good view of the lake despite the rain and mis...

Loved it! This is a must visit if you come here to see Mt Fuji 🗻 The place is accessible via little cable cars. There's a couple view points, a giant swing with the mountain in front for pictures. Many hiking trails that go up and down the mountain, though some of them may or may not be open depending on the time of year or weather.

Taking the cable car up to Kawaguchiko Tenjoyama Park is absolutely required if you are visiting. The views were absolutely spectacular (we got very lucky on an extremely clear day). The ice cream shop at the top is a must do to just sit back and enjoy the views of Mt Fuji. Easily able to spend hours just marveling at the sheer size of this spectacular volcano

A "must stop" if you come to observe the Fujiyama to this lake. The queue can be a bit long depending when you come, but the views are absolutely worth it. The rail cars are great and well organised, on top you have food, souvenir shops, toilets, and many viewpoints where take photos.
In spring, cherry blossoms along the trail frame Mt. Fuji in pink. In autumn, red and gold leaves enhance panoramic views. On clear winter mornings, the summit deck offers crisp vistas; bring warm layers.
