Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Kids stay engaged with boat rides and stops without getting tired.

Gliding along the Grand Canal is like stepping into a living painting—Venice's main waterway is lined with over 170 historic palaces, churches, and bridges that showcase centuries of architectural splendor. Whether by vaporetto (public water bus) or a romantic gondola, the views are mesmerizing: from the ornate Ca' d'Oro to the majestic Rialto Bridge arching over the water, and colorful facades re...

The Grand Canal is the heart of Venice—beautiful palaces lining both sides, gondolas gliding by, and vaporettos buzzing through. Whether you take a boat ride or just admire it from the bridges, the views are absolutely unforgettable.
Summer brings heat and crowds; go early or late. In spring and fall, temperatures are mild and lines are shorter.
